The Unpolluting of Man

Earth is being blanketed with synthetic chemicals at a rate far greater than at any time in human history.

A 2024 study published in the Journal of Exposure Science & Environmental Epidemiology found evidence of 3,601 food contact chemicals (FCCs) present in human biological samples, including blood, breast milk, and fat tissue.

Furthermore, a 2024 study from the University of Birmingham demonstrated that per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), commonly referred to as “forever chemicals,” can be absorbed through human skin. These substances are persistent in the environment and have been linked to various health issues.

It is evident that the accumulation of synthetic chemicals in the human body has intensified over the past two decades. The full impact of this chemical “soup” on human health continues to be a critical area of research.

Since 1981, FASE staff and associates have participated in studies relating to a detoxification program developed by L. Ron Hubbard and released in 1978 as a contribution and gift to his friends. This program is a precise regimen that involves sauna, exercise, vitamins and minerals to mobilize and eliminate stored toxins and reduce symptoms associated with chemical exposures.

Studies regarding the use of the Hubbard program to reduce body burdens of common contaminants such as DDT and PCBs have been published by the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer, the Royal Swedish Academy of Science, the Society for Occupational and Environmental Health, UNESCO and the American Society of Civil Engineers, among others.
